The Beer Hub is in an old train station turned pub, located in Utica, NY. Because the space has so much character, I knew I needed to recreate that personality in the logo and branded materials. The hand-drawn artwork for the logo features a train engineer taking a well-deserved beer break after a long day on the tracks.
The logo was hand-drawn and inspired by the location of the bar - an old train station with all the character still in tact.
Some of the other materials I’ve created for this project include the menu (which is updated daily due to the ever-changing draft lineup), the website, t-shirts and the business cards which include a drink chip - a pressed penny stamped with the logo. A customer can buy a drink for a friend who returns the chip in exchange for the beer.
